About Me

My name is Deborah Rosen.  I am the current DFGL (Distinguished Faith Group Leader) for Goddess Harmony Circle, as well as wife to a wonderful Pagan man and mother to our beautiful baby girl.  I am active-duty Navy and in-progress with my training as a Deacon within Sacred Well Congregation.

My path is very eclectic, a practicing Witch and astrologer with a strong focus on the celestial energies.  I have known I am Pagan since I was 12, having walked away from the Episcopal Church two years before and never looked back.  I follow Athena, Freyja and the Archangel Michael: I read the clouds as easily as the cards, and am equally comfortable with Ceremonial Magick or hedge-witchery.

As GHC's leader, I consider myself to be, first and foremost, a facilitator.  My job is to maintain a comfortable environment for all to learn from one another, not necessarily from me - I do not have all the answers, nor will all of my answers (or any of them) necessarily fit someone else.  This is the nature of being human.

Our discussion nights are usually an open format on a subject of timely relevance: we also keep Full Moon Esbats and work with our partner Chalice Circle to serve the Oahu Pagan community during Sabbats.

How did you first learn about paganism?

Came to the Craft by accident: at ten years old, I was a dedicated acolyte of my local Episcopal church, but somethin didn't feel right about it.  Something didn't make sense (actually a lot of somethings).  So I asked the head pastor about it, and when he gave me a BS answer about it I just walked away.

A couple of years of aimless wandering later, I finally asked "If there's any Power out there that can help e out, I'd appreciate it."  A few minutes later, as I was engaged in cleaning out boxes that had gone without unpacking for months from our recent move, I rediscovered a copy of a poem that my father had written for me.  It was titled "Athena."  I no longer have all of it, but the parts I remember are as follows:

"Armored Athena, protectress of heroes,
Alone on your frozen sea,
I see a reflection of me.
...(lost)...
And I know that you are Deborah, my daughter, my Athena
And I will always be in awe of you."

That began a search for the goddess of Wisdom, a search that continues seventeen years later.

About Me

I am a new study to Wicca and all things Pagan.  I live in Ewa Beach and am looking to learn more about the Craft.

How did you first learn about paganism?

I have always known there is something out there that was greater than I am and more than what I was taught growing up (Christianity).  I started seeking the path around 2003 with an ex, but he was not much help.

About Me

Eclectic Pagan and Witch.  Currently DFGL (Distinguished Faith Group Leader) for Goddess Harmony Circle, based out of Hickam AFB and in training as a deacon of Sacred Well Congregation.  Married to a wonderful man (also a Pagan), and mother to our gorgeous (and frighteningly smart) little girl, Deanna.

How did you first learn about paganism?

I was raised Episcopalian, but lost that faith by the time I was 10 years old due to a conversation with my pastor.  Wandered for a few years, until a poem literally landed in my lap and brought me to Athena's door.  She has never led me wrong (though I occasionally require a clue-by-four to get it right).

Since then, I've occasionally been pulled other ways: as of Yule 2013, the hardest tugging comes from Freyja.

About Me

I've been living on island for about 7 years now and am reconnecting with the Hawaii Pagan community. Currently I'm interested in learning more about Hawaiiana and the 'aina I've been living on. Flexible, I am willing to learn from and work with members of any path or tradition from Wicca, to Ceremonial Magic, to Santeria, to (wishfully) Feri and Heathenry. I help best in setting up theatrics and ritual, singing tales, food preparation, and finding/loaning books. My faith style is somewhere between contemplative/analytical (like a monk-scholar) and ecstatic (like a Maenad or a rave dancer). Mind/No-Mind.

Ashe and Bright Blessings!

How did you first learn about paganism?

Through books on different cultures and their religious traditions. As a youngster my favorite tales were from Greek, Norse and Aztec lines but it took encountering Uncle Bucky's Big Blue Book at my military library to find that...GASP!...people still pray to the old divinities. And so, I was hooked. Wicca was my gateway to heavily exploring many different faiths, traditions and world philosophies thereafter.

About Me

I am an Eclectic Pagan who has been learning since 1997 and still has so much more to know! I am a local small business owner and mother of three. I have been facilitating Chalice Circle since March of 2008 and I really enjoy the experience. I love the variety of input we get from having such varied and diverse members. My favorite tools would have to be Stones, Oils, and all forms of divination.

About Me

I am getting to know my path. My heart and my soul are ready to seek the Goddess. I hope to have a mentor in my journey that will guide me and show me the right way for my spiritual growth. I am waiting for this mentor to come and I kniow that the Goddess will reveal that person to me.  I am happy to have a place to celebrate sabats and a community that is so welcoming and full of caring.

About Me

I am Odd to say the least. Those who know me call me smart, Witty, deep thinking. Those who don't call me demanding, prudish, and crazy. I call myself the old man sitting next to the road of life, argueing with a rock, talking to those who pass me, passing on wisdom and exprinces so they don't make the same mistakes i have.
